NOTE: the "Genomalysis" folder that is installed by the Windows installers needs to be in the root of the directory structure for Windows (that is, C:\) in order for Genomalysis to execute properly. If you try to install it into a subdirectory, for example C:\Programs(x86)\, then it will fail on execution. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
ALSO, you must have Java installed on your computer in order to run Genomalysis. If you do not have Java installed, then you can download the installer from Oracle: Java download page.
Final Java Version Installer. (Recommended) This is the final Java version of Genomalysis. It has been refocused on the core functions of mining and viewing proteomic and genomic sequences, and contains detailed documentation for the user. (51 MB)
Legacy build Installer. This is the installer for the legacy build of Genomalysis. It includes many of the later functions that we were envisioning for this project in incomplete and partially functioning form. (51 MB)
User Guide. This is the user guide in PDF format for the final Java version of Genomalysis. It is included with the installer for the final version, so you don't need to download it if you are planning to install the final Java version. The installer places this user guide in the the "bin" subfolder of the installation folder, and it can be accessed through the "Info" menu in the Genomalysis main window. (250 KB)
Example Proteomes. These are some example proteomes in FASTA format. These are very old builds. Much newer and more accurate ones are doubtlessly available from NCBI. These are provided so the beginning user has some readily available proteomes in FASTA format to use while learning Genomalysis. The installer places these proteomes in the "Example Proteomes" subfolder of the Genomalysis installation folder, so you do not need to download these if you are planning to install Genomalysis.
